About

Shannon O’Shea is a mostly employed twenty-something currently learning to call herself a writer. She spends her days under fluorescent lighting, hunched over bad coffee and masquerading as a corporate professional. By night, she assumes her alternate identity of Professional Student, studying literature and secondary education. In her spare time, she likes to annoy her co-workers by using up all of the free Keurig pods. She likes to read fantasy novels, mythology, magic realism and translated poetry.

Literary Merit is the thing she wants most, and probably also her biggest obstacle. It is also the name of her blog, which chronicles the ups and downs of her quest to find it.
